The standard provides guidelines on how we can manage the environmental aspects of our business activities more effectively, whilst taking into consideration pollution prevention, environmental protection and socio-economic needs.
Following initial assessment and ISO 14001:2004 certificate issue, Shred-it is subject to regular surveillance visits to maintain registration. These visits are performed by SGS, the global body for inspection and certification services, and help Shred-it to continually use, monitor and improve our environmental management systems and the related processes.
