Acquisition of Sureshred Ltd.
As of the 13th of October 2008 Shred-it (East of Scotland) acquired the operations of Sure-Shred Ltd. Edwin Duguid, Managing Director of Sureshred Ltd, approached us earlier in the year to enquire if we would be interested in acquiring his business as he was planning to move onto a new business venture. Sure-Shred Ltd was a successful business with a customer base of almost 400 in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. Edwin chose Shred-it for the acquisition as he was confident that the service we offered was the best for his customers. Prior to the acquistion we already had a strong presence in the north of Scotland. So now that our customer base has more than doubled we have employed a dedicated Sales Executive to cover the area, Richard Jones. Richard is orginally from Lossiemouth so he is familiar with the area and ca provide great customer service to those exisitng customers and visit any potential customers to answer their queries.
